Yes. Wacking With Flavor is based in the Fargo-Moorhead area and is available for travel locally, regionally and nationwide. Travel accommodations, airfare, lodging, mileage and transportation may apply depending on the destination. Your custom quote will itemize any travel charges. See our Travel page for details.

Do you provide alcohol?

Per state regulations, clients typically provide their alcohol for private events and our licensed bartenders serve it. We will help you build a complete shopping list during your consultation so quantities, brands and signature ingredients are exactly right.

Do you provide bartenders?

Yes. Mobile bartending is one of our core services. Our bartenders handle setup, signature cocktails, mocktails, service throughout the event and cleanup of the bar area.

Do you provide servers?

Yes. Professional servers, attendants and chef staff can be added to any catering or private chef booking. Staffing recommendations are included in your custom quote based on guest count and service style.

What is required to secure a booking?

A signed agreement and a 50% non-refundable deposit reserve your date. The remaining balance is due 3 days before the event.

The consultation fee is $50, non-refundable, and applies toward your final invoice when you book. It reserves focused planning time for your menu and event.

Can I customize my menu?

Absolutely. Every menu is custom-built around your event, theme, dietary needs and budget. The sample menus on the site are starting points, not fixed packages.

Do you accommodate dietary restrictions?

Yes. Vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free, allergy-conscious, halal-aware and other custom dietary menus are part of what we do. Share details during the consultation.

What is your cancellation policy?

The $50 consultation fee and 50% deposit are non-refundable, as they reserve your date and our team. Cancellations within 3 days of the event forfeit the final balance as well.

How far in advance should I book?

Weddings: 6 to 12 months. Corporate and holiday parties: 2 to 3 months. Private chef and meal prep: 2 to 4 weeks. We do our best to accommodate shorter timelines when dates are available.

What is your minimum guest count?

Catering minimums vary by service style: drop-off catering 20 guests, full-service buffet 25 guests, plated 30 guests. Private chef and meal prep have no minimum. Corporate boxed lunch starts at 10.

Do you handle setup and cleanup?

Full-service packages include setup, service and cleanup. Drop-off catering includes disposable serviceware and basic setup; cleanup is the client's responsibility.
